    20087.jpg   20087 is seen paired with sister loco 20132 and passes through Netherfield Jn on 30th August 1993 with 1E86 08:12 Leicester-Skegness. These 2 locos had recently been given a fresh coat of paint by the staff at Saltley L.I.P. When built this loco was sent to Eastfield Depot in Scotland for use in the Scottish Lowlands area around the Forth Clyde area and the Fife Coal fields and was delivered in BR Green. 20087 was also one of the locos that were used on building the channel tunnel. 20087 was withdrawn from Traffic in April 1995 at its home depot of Bescot in the West Midlands. It was later purchased by the Bury Diesel Group and rehomed at the East Lancashire Railway.  Class 20  (6)
    20132 .jpg   In Grubby Railfreight Colours 20132 is seen Paired with BR Blue 20087 and passing through Netherfield Jn with the 1E86 08:12 Leicester-Skegness on 9th July 1993. When 20132 was New it was Originally Numbered D8132 and was new to Stavely Shed otherwise known as Barrow Hill in Chesterfield. The loco was delivered in BR Green, and later painted into BR Blue and Later was one of the first class 20's to wear the railfreight red band colours shown here along with 20023 being painted at Derby Works after Overhaul. 20132 still survives and is now Painted Green and based at Barrow Hill where it started life, and also now named 'BARROW HILL'  Class 20  (5)
    31302.jpg   31302 waits at Nottingham for a clear path with an Empty oil train for the Immingham refinerys. Built at Brush Works at Loughborough it was delivered new as D5835 and was delivered to Londons Stratford depot in lined BR Green livery to work the East Anglian passenger trains. Upon tops renumbering it became 31302 and classified as a 31/1 and painted into BR Blue. 31/1 locos were later designated as freight locos but could still be found on passenger work especially during the summer. A Later repaint saw 31302 painted into railfreight triple grey with Petroleum Sub Sectors applied and was allocated to Immingham depot. A later move to Crewe TMD saw the loco receive Trainload coal sub sectors for working Nuclear flask trains. 31302 was Stored by EWS in March 1999 and sent to Wigan Springs Branch for component recovery. The end finally came in July 1999 when it was cut up on site at Wigan.  Class 31  (5)
    20141.jpg   Looking very smart in Railfreight Red band and Snowploughs, 20141 is seen going onto Crewe Diesel Depot. New as D8141 it was delivered in BR Green with small yellow warning Panel, and delivered to the Birmingham division. Later renumbered to 20141 under the tops scheme and later repainted into BR Blue before Railfreight colours. 20141 was withdrawn from Traffic in September 1991 at its home depot of Toton in Nottinghamshire after 25 years service and in August 1993 was cut up by MC Metals at Glasgow  Class 20  (4)

    47810 Derby 2nd September 2007.jpg   47810 Started life being Built at Brush Works at Loughborough as works number 686. On completion it became D1924 and entered traffic in December 1965 in BR 2 Tone green livery with small yellow warning panels and being allocated to Cardiff Canton depot in Wales on BRs Western Region. D1924 Satyed allocated to Cardiff untill January 1967 when it was transfered to Eastleigh Depot on the Southern Region. On the 9th July 1967 D1924 had the honour of hauling the final 'BOURNEMOUTH BELLE' from Bournemouth to London Waterloo on the last day of Southern steam. July 1968 saw D1924 Reallocted back to Cardiff. December 1973 D1924 was renumberd 47247 and was now known as a 47/0, and now carrying BR Blue Livery, and stayed allocated to Cardiff untill 1978 then moved to Bristol. June 1986 saw 47247 reallocated to Gateshead depot at Newcastle and becoming a Eastern Region loco. May 1987 saw 47247 emerge from Crewe Works after Overhaul was reclassified a 47/4 Carrying BR Large Logo and carring the number 47655.May 1987 saw 47247 move depots again and moved north into scotland and being allocated to Eastfield, Glasgow. 47655s stay as a scottish loco was short and by May 1988 was transfered back to the Western Region at Bristol Bath Road. In March 1989 47247 was again reclassified and renumbered to 47810 and now known as a twin tank loco meaning it had its former boiler as a second fuel tank for extended range. 47810 was now used on Cross country train services and when due for another overhaul was outshopped in Intercity Swallow colours. May 27th 1996 saw 47810 being Named after its owner and carrying the nameplates 'PORTERBROOK' being named at Cannon hill park, Birmingham by Mrs M T Arnott-Job lord mayor of Birmingham. Virgin trains then won the franchise for Cross country trains and 47810 was repainted into Virgin Red colours an stayed with Virgin till 2002 when being displaced by Voygers. 47810 was then moved to Cotswold Rail and on 5th February 2007 became the first loco to emerge from the new paint shop at Wolverhampton carrying Cotswold silver and now de-named. February 10th and 47810 worked a Heartland charter from Glouster to Brighton and upon arrival there was named 'CAPTAIN SENSIBLE' by Captain Sensible himself. 47810 spent some time based in East Anglia as a Thunderbird loco for Anglia trains being outbased at Norwich. Mandatry fitting of OTMR was the downfall of 47810 and in January 2008 47810 was stopped from working on the network. August 2009 saw 47810 transferd to HNRL and hopefully to be put back out on the Mainline.  Class 47/8  (2)
